I was born in California. I was raised in the desert.
I was not made ready for a foot of snow.
Now I have a block of ice and snow.
I used to have -- well, no, I haven't had sanity in a long time. But I used to at least be able to keep myself amused for more than ten seconds. Snow has destroyed this. I just keep looking outside and thinking 'Oh, you suck.'
Though, actually, everything is sparkly, which is slightly awesome.
However, on the upside, I've been able to read. For instance, this book?

Awww, I think you're lucky. (And you've probably got a snow day) I'm in Cali right now wishing for snow! How come everyone gets bad weather but us? I feel soooo cheated.
-grins- If it makes you feel better, we have to make it up. We've had three days off, but they get added on at the end of the year. Also, it is

Oh....but still! I'd like at least one snow day or something. It's like sixty or seventy degrees right now. I was hanging out outside with a t-shirt on. Some of my friends are wearing flip flops and shorts to school. It doesn't feel like winter at all. (P.S. I read the first chapter of Altered on inkpop. It's good!)
Yes, my Little Monster is going absolutely cabin-fever-crazy right now. Tomorrow is the 4th day off school because of our "Blizzard of 2011" I swear she's going to start chanting "redrum redrum" with her finger.
GAAAA I F*CKING HATE SNOW SO F*CKING BAAAAAAD
Neither I nor my car will function in this weather. The only thing that seems to function is the puppy, who enjoys taking as much snow as possible with her inside the house. Oh, and eating it! I wish she could just eat all of it.
