Yes, yes, I know

I know I said I'd stop asking about author interviews. However. I got another one, and there's something different about this author.
Or, should I say, authors.
That's right. They're sisters, and they write together. At one point on their blog, they mentioned that they write six chapters a week.
Lisa and Laura Roecker have agreed for an interview.
I know a lot of people are interested about writing in pairs, so I figured I'd open it up to see if anyone had questions. -shrugs-
And now, because I've been wanting to post this for a while...
NIGHTSHADE CITY (Oct.1st, 2010, Holiday House)
Isn't it awesome? Hilary Wagner got her cover quite a while ago and I realized I hadn't posted it.
I can't wait for Nightshade City...Rick Riordan blurbed it, and the author is pretty dang fantabulous.
Anyway, that's about it for now.
More later!

I'm glad you asked about the writing in pairs question. that seems so hard!
Do they ever wanna kill each other? How do they write--like trading back and forth? And six chapters a WEEK?!
Dude how long does it take them to finish a book?!

So I'm eating lunch and scrolling through my blogger dashboard at new posts and what pops up? My book's cover! How super cool! :) Sam, you are so sweet! I love, love, love my cover. Omar Rayyan did a fantastic job and the Rick Riordan review is well...I don't even have words to describe its awesomeness! I was shocked when I found out--still am!

Nightshade's sequel is due to my publisher October 1st, so I've been working on it like a mad dog! I hope I'm lucky enough to get Omar again.

BTW: Lisa and Laura are the coolest chicks ever! Love those girls! I have no idea how they write together and still stay sane, but it's obviously paid off!

xoxo -- Hilary

Yeah I'd like to know how they compromise, like if one doesn't like what the other wrote. I'm so selfish when I'm writing, I wouldn't want anybody to mess with it!

In general I think it's easier for sisters to mix than brother-sister combos... but don't quote me on that! I don't have a sister to experiment with. Yay on the cover!

6 chapters a week? Are they on a year-round nano?

Geez. Guess I'd better up the ante for myself... I'm lucky to get two a month with school in the mix...

Hello. I would just like to note that I love the sisters. They are amazing. As is that cover. I am so ready for Nightshade City. *dances*

That is all.

Jennifer: Haha, thanks. You were wondering the same stuff I was!
Hilary: Haha, thanks. Your cover is amazing. I didn't realize that you weren't guaranteed the same cover artist, though--that's gotta be stressful!
Lisa and Laura do seem pretty awesome, gotta say. :P
Aspen: Got it!
Cipherqueen: It depends on age, too, I think. My sister and I get along mostly, but generally she's just like a rather annoying puppy/uber entertaining friend.
Maggie: I agree. -nods wisely.- On both counts.
